To everything, there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven." Eccl. 3:1
There is immense power in recognizing when your assignment has come to an end. So many are living in an expired season. When we continue beyond our designated timeframe, we operate without the anointing or grace that's necessary for an assigned season. This can lead us to trying to force something to fit outside its season, resulting in exhaustion, depletion, and frustration. As the Scriptures teach us "To everything, there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven." When we attempt to labor in a season that has expired, we find ourselves yielding no fruit—a barren place with no vegetation. Perhaps you're experiencing a sense of confusion or chaos. Consistent heavy burdens and frustrations. This may be an indication that you are straining to thrive in an area where God's anointing is no longer present for that particular assignment. In Isaiah 43:19, God says, "Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?" It's time to discern if God is moving us toward new assignments that require a fresh anointing. I get it moving on and letting go can be difficult. But remaining can be catastrophic. In addition, when we are still living in a season that has already expired, we miss the abundant blessings that awaits us in the new!
